Oil & Gas executive joins Board
CLAN Cancer Support is delighted to welcome a well-known north-east business leader to its Board of Directors.
Bob Drummond, CEO of Hydrasun Group, a leading international provider of fluid transfer, power and control solutions to the energy industry, joined the charity’s prestigious Board this month.
Mr Drummond has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years and prior to joining Hydrasun held senior positions at several leading energy companies including Maersk UK, Salamis Group, Wood Group Engineering and Rigblast Energy Services Group.
Bringing strategic expertise and significant business experience to the CLAN Board, Mr Drummond joins chairman Hugh Little, vice chairman Stuart Cochrane, Aberdeen vice Lord Lieutenant Andrew Lawtie, Aubin Group’s Katy Gifford, solicitor Ken Gordon, AGCC’S Seona Shand, Leigh Stott from Hunter Adams, Dr Lesley Weir, Mearns & Gill MD Mike Wilson and oncologist specialist Professor Marianne Nicolson.
Mr Drummond said: “I am honoured to join the CLAN Board and to be part of an impressive team of people who are committed to helping people in the north-east.
“I have been associated with CLAN for a number of years, and this year Hydrasun has worked closely with CLAN to develop a campaign which has helped to demonstrate the important work done by CLAN across the region.
“I look forward to working with Hugh and the Board to support CLAN’s work and ensure that anyone affected by cancer can access emotional and practical support in our city centre, towns and villages.

Our Board of Directors is made up of talented professionals, who are committed to Aberdeen and the north-east and to helping us continue to provide essential cancer support. We are delighted that Bob has agreed to join the team as we move into the next phase of CLAN’s development.’
