CLAN Inverurie gets festive for final coffee morning of the year

CLAN Cancer Support is inviting people from Inverurie and the surrounding area to its last coffee morning of 2014.

The popular monthly event, which is held within the Catholic Church Hall on the town’s North Street, will take place on Thursday, December 4 at 10.30am.

The morning will be festive themed, with a range of cards for sale along with a raffle, refreshments and mince pies.

Gemma Powell, CLAN’s area services co-ordinator, said “This will be the last coffee morning we hold in Inverurie for 2014 and we are inviting people from the local community to come along and get into the festive spirit.

“We’ll have a range of cards for sale, along with a raffle and a spread of scrumptious mince pies on offer to those attending. We’d be delighted to see you there.”

CLAN’s coffee mornings in Inverurie will revert back to a Monday timeslot in 2015, with the first being held on January, 12.

CLAN Cancer Support is an independent charity. It is open three days a week in Inverurie offering a drop-in service, complementary therapies and counselling as well as a regular relaxation classes and monthly coffee mornings.
