Walking, Talking & Sharing Experiences
Whether it’s getting out and active with our walking group or supportive discussions with people who are or have faced a diagnosis like yours, Clan support groups are all focused on the benefit of being around people who completely understand your situation and have shared experiences you can all relate to.
Current Clan Support Groups
Support groups are a growing and evolving thing at Clan — they begin to meet demand and address key issues among our clients and service users. Here are the groups currently running.
We have walking groups at Clan Aberdeen, Mintlaw, Elgin and Shetland led by our Volunteer Walk Leaders.
These groups meet weekly on the following days:
- Clan Aberdeen - every Monday at 10:30am-12pm
- Clan Elgin - every Tuesday at 10:30am-12pm
- Clan Mintlaw - every Wednesday at 10:30am-12pm
- Clan Shetland - every Wednesday at 11am-12:30pm
This is an opportunity to engage in some gentle exercise, peer support and the chance to pop into our centres for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.
