Clan’s accommodation service is available to individuals undergoing cancer treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, as well as their families and loved ones. With this service, we aim to provide a safe, supportive, and comfortable place to stay during what can be a challenging time.
Drop-off & Collection
All guests at Clan's Aberdeen accommodation have access to Clan’s complementary transport service which runs Monday - Friday, with drop-off and collection times synced with guest appointment times.

Clan Accommodation is directly linked to Clan House in Aberdeen and is open to anyone affected by cancer or accompanying someone undergoing cancer treatment. The facility has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, relaxed, and supportive environment.

Guests are welcome to prepare their own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and the spacious lounge and dining areas offer a peaceful space to unwind. Our dedicated staff and volunteer team are available throughout your stay to provide emotional support. Guests also have full access to all free support services offered within Clan House. Where possible, we can provide transport to and from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for those receiving treatment between the hours of 8:30am - 4pm.
Clan Accommodation is located within a 20‑minute walk of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and the city centre can be easily reached by bus. Free parking is available for guests.
A short walk away in the Rosemount area, you'll find a wide range of grocery shops, cafés, and gift shops, with a larger retail park just a short drive away.
- £60 per night – Single room
- £90 per night – Twin room
- £100 per night – Family room (based on two people sharing)
- Children under 5 stay free
- Children aged 5–16 are charged £10 per night
Breakfast is available for £5 per person per night.

No. Friends or relatives who are supporting someone who is staying here or who has been admitted to the hospital for a cancer related reason.
Yes. Just come straight here and we can do your paperwork, give you a tour and show you through to the lounge/kitchen area until your room is ready.
We will fill out paperwork with you, show you how to get in and out of the building with your own key fob and then show you around and then to your room. We will answer any questions you have and then leave you to settle in.
Yes. You can organise this directly through patient travel in both Shetland and Orkney. The Falcon Coach operates Monday to Friday. They pick up from the Ferry Port/Airport on arrival and then again from Clan Accommodation on your return journey.
All of our rooms are en-suite with towels provided. Every room has a smart TV, microwave and small fridge. The rooms have tea, coffee and milk. There is free WIFI throughout the building and every room has its own phone with its own number. This can be given out to friends and family.
We have a bus service for all Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy patients. Our bus driver will drop you off at the Eastgate Entrance at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and will pick you from there when your appointment is over. The bus hours are 8.30am-4.00pm. To arrange this service, please speak to the Client Relations Team on your arrival.
No. We are not a medical facility. Guests who stay with us must be able to look after themselves or if they do require assistance then they would need an escort.
Yes, you can have visitors at any time, all we ask is they sign in at reception when they arrive and sign out when they leave.
We do not take any payments in advance due to changing appointments. We take payment either the night before departure or on day of departure. We accept cash or card.
Check in to your room is 12.00pm. Check out from your room is 10.00am. You are welcome to use the kitchen/lounge areas until you are picked up/leave the building.
