Variety is spice of life for CLAN event

A north-east cancer support charity is to prove that Aberdeen’s got talent by hosting a special fundraising event.

CLAN Cancer Support is to hold its annual variety show at CLAN House on Wednesday, June 5, at 7pm.

The show itself will see the audience entertained by a range of performers that include a number of singers, a martial arts demonstration and music provided by a saxophone quartet.

The event forms part of the charity’s 30th anniversary celebrations with all proceeds going directly to CLAN, enabling it to continue to provide free support for anyone affected by cancer across the north-east of Scotland.

Tickets for the night cost £5 and can be purchased from CLAN House prior to the event. Light refreshments are included.

CLAN Cancer Support is an independent charity which provides comfort support and information, free of charge, for anyone, of any age, affected by any type of cancer. CLAN aims to support people to reduce anxiety, stress and to increase their ability to cope with the effects of a serious illness. Based in Aberdeen, the charity covers the whole of north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland. CLAN has a presence in Ballater, Inverurie, Elgin, Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Stonehaven, Kirkwall and Lerwick.
