Karla - My Cancer Support Story
Following her own cancer diagnosis, Karla was supported by CLAN Cancer Support in Aberdeen.
Karla benefited from CLAN's one-to-one support service and complementary therapies which aim to reduce the pain and stress that can be associated with a cancer diagnosis. Karla also visited CLAN House when she needed some space, a quiet spot to enjoy a book and the chance to chat with others.
Karla's mother also benefited from CLAN's one-to-one support with Karla and her young daughter using CLAN's dedicated Children & Families Service. They worked hand-in-hand with CLAN's specialist support workers to help Karla's daughter understand her feelings during what was a difficult time for the family.
