Gladys - My CLAN Cancer Support Story
Following her cancer diagnosis Gladys was supported by CLAN Cancer Support in both Orkney and Aberdeen.
Gladys was faced with having to travel to Aberdeen for specialist treatment, and stayed in CLAN's facility in Aberdeen - CLAN Haven - for six weeks during her treatment. CLAN Haven is CLAN's purpose-designed bed and breakfast facility which provides 'home from home' accommodation for people, and their families, while they receive treatment at hospital in Aberdeen.
Gladys kindly shared with us how CLAN's support and services during this difficult time in her life changed her life for ever.
