CLAN is on the search for prize donations

A leading north-east cancer support charity is appealing for prize donations as it prepares for its busiest fundraising period of the year.

CLAN Cancer Support is on the hunt for donations for a number of upcoming tombolas, raffles and auctions as it forges ahead with its fundraising drive that enables the charity to provide free support services to anyone affected by cancer across the north of Scotland.

The charity is looking for a variety of prizes, from gift sets, gift vouchers, weekend breaks and meals out and is also encouraging local businesses to make a monetary donation to be used to purchase gifts.

Susan Crighton, CLAN’s fundraising manager, said: “As CLAN enters its busy summer fundraising period, we have a number of upcoming events that require a spread of prize donations, and we’re appealing for both businesses and individuals to come forward and help.

“We would greatly appreciate any donation made, be it chocolates, wine or gift vouchers and your generosity really would be felt by everyone associated with the charity.”
