CLAN extends reach in Stonehaven

CLAN Cancer Support is extending its range of services within Stonehaven.

CLAN began offering a new specialist lingerie advice and bra fitting service for women who have had breast surgery at CLAN House in Aberdeen last year, and demand for appointments has led to the initiative being made available throughout the north-east.

Free one-off sessions for bra fitting and prosthesis support with Estelle Robb, who provides CLAN’s specialist salon services, will be available in Stonehaven from 10am on Friday (March 27, 2015).

Gemma Powell, CLAN area co-ordinator, said: “We have had a wonderful response to the specialist lingerie service throughout our north-east bases and we are pleased to be able to offer consultations in Stonehaven this week. At the moment these are being offered on a stand-alone basis, but it is something we could look to offer further if there is enough demand.

“CLAN is committed to making its services as accessible as possible for people living with cancer and we would encourage anyone who wants to find out more about our services in Stonehaven to get in touch.”

To make an appointment to see Estelle for a bra fitting consultation or prosthesis support advice contact CLAN Stonehaven on 01569 762398 or stonehaven@clanhouse.org.
