CLAN Cancer Support Extends Reach in Stonehaven

A leading north-east charity is further extending its range of services in Stonehaven due to strong interest.

CLAN began offering a new specialist lingerie advice and bra fitting service at CLAN House in Aberdeen last year for women who have had breast surgery, and demand for appointments led to the initiative being made available throughout the north-east.

Free one-off sessions for bra fitting and prosthesis support with Estelle Robb, who provides CLAN’s specialist salon services, were recently held in Stonehaven. Further appointments with Estelle will now be made available on Friday, May 22, as a result of the need in the town.

Gemma Powell, CLAN area co-ordinator, said: “We have had a tremendous response to the specialist lingerie service throughout our north-east bases and our initial consultations were received very well in Stonehaven.

“We are pleased to be able to offer further appointments in Stonehaven this week and this is something we will continue to look towards having according to demand. CLAN is committed to making its services as accessible as possible for people living with cancer and we would encourage anyone who wants to find out more about our services in Stonehaven to get in touch.”

To make an appointment to see Estelle for a bra fitting consultation or prosthesis support advice contact CLAN Stonehaven on 01569 762398 or stonehaven@clanhouse.org.
