Aromatherapy at CLAN Inverurie Coffee Morning

The smell of essential oils will be in the air on Monday, April 8 at CLAN Inverurie. Therapist Anna Watson will be giving a talk on the benefits of Aromatherapy during a coffee morning. She will be talking about the properties of various oils and giving a short demonstration of a head and neck massage.

Gemma Powell, CLAN’s area services coordinator, said: “Aromatherapy is one of the complementary therapies we offer at CLAN. People tell us it helps them relax, sleep better and cope with the stresses of dealing with cancer.”

“Anna has worked with CLAN for many years and has a wealth of experience of using aromatherapy massage to help those affected by cancer. I am sure her talk will be a good introduction to aromatherapy to those new to it as well as giving more information to those who already enjoy its benefits.”

The coffee morning take place at the Catholic Church Hall in North Street, Inverurie at 10.30 on Monday, April 8 and is open to anyone affected by any type of cancer.
