Run Balmoral 2026 takes place at the heart of Balmoral Castle on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April, bringing the local community together for a fun and inclusive running event.
There are various distance options to suit all ages and abilities, from short family friendly runs to 5km and 10km races.
Run Balmoral offers a non-competitive experience, so you can take part solo or with friends, family and work colleagues.

Really Muddy Aberdeen takes place at Castle Fraser, Inverurie on Sunday, May 17!
It’s a fun but challenging outdoor obstacle run with various distance and challenges to suit all ages and abilities including kids’ 3km and adults 5km and 10lkm courses, all over muddy terrain with obstacles to test and get you laughing in the mud.
Whether you take part solo or with friends, family and work colleagues – it’s a memorable adventure for all.

Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2026 takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, Scotland’s biggest running festival set in the capital.
There are loads of distance options to suit all ages and abilities, including 10km, 5km and junior options.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on a big challenge, or running with friends, family and colleagues, the festival offers a fantastic experience with stunning routes around the city and beyond.

The Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2026 takes place on Sunday, 7th June, starting from Banchory to Duthie Park in Aberdeen, bringing walkers together for Scotland’s biggest mass-participation walking event.
There are two distances to choose from, the Mighty Stride (approximately 18 miles) for those up for a challenge, and the Wee Wander (approximately 4 miles) - perfect for walkers or all ages and abilities.

The Banchory Beast Race 2026 takes place on Saturday 12th September, bringing participants together for one of Scotland’s toughest obstacle course challenges.
This is an epic 10 km multi‑terrain obstacle race set around Knockburn Loch, with 30+ brutal obstacles including giant water slides, icy loch dips, mud bogs, steep climbs and swamp crossings — perfect for testing stamina, strength and teamwork whether you take part solo or with others.
Whether you’re up for the full challenge or tackling it with friends, family or work colleagues, the Beast Race is a fun adventure with a great atmosphere.
