Are you a qualified exercise professional who wants to make a genuine difference in people’s lives?
Clan's Physical Health & Wellbeing Service is expanding, and we are looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join us on a zero-hour contract basis in two roles:
These roles support individuals before, during, and after cancer treatment as well as those in caring roles, helping them maintain both physical and emotional wellbeing. This is more than a fitness role....It’s an opportunity to support people through one of the most challenging periods of their lives, helping them regain strength, confidence, and a sense of control.
This innovative programme is designed to develop, deliver, and evaluate structured physical activity and exercise support for people impacted by cancer.
We recognise that this is not a typical fitness environment. Many clients will be experiencing fatigue, treatment side effects, or emotional distress. Success in this role means:
Exercise Practitioner (up to 10 hours per week)
You will provide 1:1 assessments, personalised exercise programmes, and ongoing support helping clients to:
You’ll adapt sessions in real time based on each client’s physical and emotional needs.
Group Exercise Coach (up to 3 hours per week)
You will deliver inclusive, supportive group sessions that:
Creating a welcoming, non-judgemental environment that nurtures peer support is essential.
Closing date Sunday 3rd May. Interviews to be held Tuesday 12th May, with training for successful applicants being held on 27th & 28th May,
