Where We Belong is designed by the pupils of Bervie Primay School. A group of pupils selected their favorite parts from all the designs, and local artist Louise from Lemmon Studios helped bring the vision together and transfer it to the sculpture. Pupils from across the school painted the bench using brushes and sponges, taking time and pride in their work. The BookBench reflects the school’s location and the sense of privilege the pupils feel in being able to sit peacefully in their beautiful surroundings to enjoy a book.
