The Seagull's Watch
📍 Lido Car Park, Peterhead
Ali Elly
The fisherman stands at the edge of his boat, with weathered tattoos of ancient ships, anchors and waves of stormy seas inked on his arms. He hauls in the heavy nets, now brimming with wriggling sardines, their silver scales shimmering like treasure. Seaweed clings all tangled to the catch. With a lone seagull watching while others circle above, watching and waiting.
