Strathburn is a ‘Core Level Reading School’ highlighting the value of reading and books. All of our pupils were involved in the design process as they each created their own unique designs as part of our ‘World Book Day’ celebrations. We combined elements of the various designs to make our final design. We were inspired by our sponsor ‘D.C Thomson’ looking at comic strips and our favourite characters in the Beano and Oor Wullie. We are excited to share our love of reading with everyone who explores the north-east community with The BookBench Trail.
