Booky is designed by all nursery and school pupils of Port Elphinstone Primary School. The sculpture explores the overarching theme of ‘where a book takes you.’ Some pupils chose to design a place where they enjoy reading or getting lost in the world of their favourite book, while others incorporated their favourite book or book character into their design. Each design is unique to the individual pupils at Port Elphinstone School and Nursery.
