CLAN Cancer Support is delighted to be the nominated charity of Kirkwall BID’s Girls Day Out event on Sunday, 2nd October in Kirkwall.
Almost 50 businesses will be involved in the event, turning Kirkwall into a sea of purple to mark the end of CLAN’s ‘Go Purple for CLAN’ celebrations for 2016. During the day may shops and businesses will be raising funds for CLAN, have special one day offers and CLAN Orkney will be open for refreshments and information. CLAN’s Mini will also be in Kirkwall with raffle tickets available from CLAN’s Drop in Centre.
St Magnus Cathedral will also ‘go purple’ in support of CLAN on Sunday evening.
The support shown to CLAN by organisations and communities in Orkney is outstanding and CLAN would like to thank everyone involved for their continue support in raising awareness and funds for CLAN. As part of the day Begg Shoes and Bags will be donating 10% of every sale in its Kirkwall store on Sunday.
