Clan to Party like the Roaring 20's for return of Annual Ball

Leading north-east charity Clan Cancer Support is taking a trip back to the roaring twenties as it looks to host its first fundraising ball in more than two years.

Clan Cancer Support will roll out the red carpet for its event at the Beach Ballroom on Saturday, October 1, with all proceeds going towards providing vital services for people affected by cancer in the north-east, Moray, Shetland and Orkney.

Guest will be immersed in the prohibition era with performances from a live band, dancing flapper girls and barbershop singers - with a 1920s style car providing Instagram-worthy photo opportunities.

The evening, which includes a three-course meal and drinks reception, will also provide the opportunity for guests to win raffles prizes and bid for exclusive auction items.

Ruth McIntosh, Clan’s charity development manager, said: “Our annual ball is the biggest event in our fundraising calendar and we have sorely missed it over the past few years. We’re incredibly grateful to those who have generously donated prizes for our raffle and auction and to everyone who has already bought a ticket.

“The countdown is now on with just under two months to go, but there’s still time to support the event by contacting our fundraising team about a donation or by purchasing a ticket – we’re sure it will be a night to remember!”

The ball will take place at the Beach Ballroom on Saturday, October 1. Tickets cost £100 per person and a limited number of tables of 10 are available at £1,000 each. The VIP packages are now completely sold out.
