Clan Cancer Support are always looking for skilled individuals to join our bank of Relief Haven Accommodation Support Workers. Working in our busy Haven facility, you will work with our clients to ensure their overall comfort during their stay at our Bed and Breakfast facility.

The Clan Haven is a lifeline service for those travelling a distance to access cancer support at ARI and Clan strive to provide a ‘home from home’ service when life’s normalities are temporarily on hold. Working with the wider Clan Services and Client Relations Teams, the Haven Accommodation Support role ensures continuity of service ‘out of hours’ and ensures the best possible environment for our clients. Comprising mainly of weekend work, the Haven Accommodation Relief team would work alongside ARI’s Oncology Clinics, coordinate transport, ensure the health and safety of our clients, manage arrivals and departures and process payments. A key part of the role is the signposting to Clan’s cancer support service (including listening and support, counselling, and therapies) as well as the wider information service.

Full training in Listening & Support, use of our IT systems and safeguarding will be provided .
