Going through cancer treatment can be difficult in a number of ways, especially during a pandemic. CLAN is providing 1 to 1 online wig styling sessions with Estelle on Mondays for those experiencing symptoms such as hair loss. Estelle is established in styling wigs and hairpieces and is here to help if you are undergoing cancer treatments and would like some advice.

Mindfulness Based Living is a 10-week course. This course will run for 2 hours each week, where you will go over various aspects of mindfulness with Janine, giving you an in-depth understanding of mindfulness practices with a view to providing the tools and support for each participant to sustain an individually suited mindfulness practice in your daily life beyond this course.

Classes involve gentle, controlled movements, ideal for stretching muscles, joint mobility, and generally strengthening the body. These yoga classes are suitable for everyone as movements are done to your ability level and it is not competitive. The type of yoga Carolyn teaches is very gentle, emphasising awareness of the body and the breath.

The concept of Qigong is based on meditation, breathing techniques and gentle movements. Each session will cover meditation, self-massage, mobility, core movements and Relaxation. We'll then finish the class with time for a chat together.

This Q&A session is for parents covering topics such as: talking to children about cancer, managing anxiety, building resilience, healthy sleep patterns, supporting children who are sad, and more. You will be asked to send in questions/topics for discussion in advance of the meeting.

The death of a loved one can be difficult to come to terms with, particularly in these restricted times as we try to navigate our way through the pandemic. CLAN is providing an opportunity for recently bereaved individuals to come together via Zoom to talk and share experiences, which will be facilitated by Anne.
