CLAN Cancer Support

Bereaved Dad's Group

Led by Charlotte Bryce (CFS Practitioner) and Fiona Macpherson (Area Services Manager), this group is for Bereaved Dads, or a Dad-figure, who have lost their partner to a cancer diagnosis.

The group will offer those with similar lived experience to come together and provide emotional, social and practical support to each other. The sessions will enable discussion of relevant themes and offer the opportunity for individuals to share their own experience whilst listening to other group members share theirs.

The group will run for 6 sessions on a fortnightly Thursday evening basis, commencing the 7th of March 2024. The group will run from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Clan House, Aberdeen.

Aberdeen Myeloma Group

Led by Christine Boylan. A great opportunity to meet other patients and carers and learn more about living with myeloma. The group meets monthly at Clan House, on the 4th Wednesday between 2.30pm - 4.30pm.

Breast Reconstruction Support Group

Meets on the third Tuesday of each month (11am-1pm). Led by ARI breast reconstruction team and offers support to women who have had, or are considering having, breast reconstruction related to breast cancer.

Sarcoma Support Group

This is an external group facilitated by Rachel Hall, Sarcoma Cancer Nurse Specialist and two patient facilitators. This group is for sarcoma patients, carers and supporters. The group meets at Clan House from 6.30pm - 7.30pm on the below dates:
