For the health and safety of our clients and staff members we ask you, when entering a Clan centre, to adhere to the following guidelines.

  • Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result should stay at home and self-isolate immediately.
  • Please stay at home if you are a close contact with an infected person. You can find our online and telephone services here.
  • You should only travel to Clan if you are symptom free and have not been a close contact.
  • Remember to take your face covering with you when you leave your home as you will need this when entering a Clan centre.
  • You must wear a face covering when entering a Clan centre unless you are exempt.
  • On arrival you will be asked to take your temperature at one of our scanning machines.
  • You will then be asked to sanitise your hands at one of our stations provided.
  • Finally, you must sign into the building using our virtual check-in system. You can scan the QR code provided or populate your details here. Instructions will be provided on your arrival. You will also be asked to check out once you have left the building.

  • Wash your hands regularly, with soap and water, for a minimum of 20 seconds or use the hand sanitiser which is provided in dispensers throughout Clan centres.
  • Remember to avoid touching your face.
  • Use the hand sanitiser on entry and exit of buildings and rooms - dispensers have been placed across all our buildings.
  • Cleaning materials/wipes will be provided for staff to clean down their main touchpoints when you enter a room.
  • Remember not to share personal items or face coverings with anyone.

It is important to remember that you will be asked on arrival if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been a close contact of someone that is positive and you won't be able to enter the building if you have. This is to ensure that all clients and staff are kept safe and our professional cancer services can still be provided throughout our centres.
