Merchandise to mark CLAN’s Anniversary
A range of merchandise has been unveiled to help mark CLAN Cancer Support's 30th anniversary.
CLAN has produced a selection of commemorative wristbands, pens, badges, and magnets that will be available to purchase by those keen to join in with the charity’s birthday celebrations.
The merchandise is adorned by a logo that was designed by nine-year-old Beth Cooper, the Largue School pupil who won a competition in which entrants were asked to design a special motif to mark the charity’s 30th year.
The charity is appealing for businesses and organisations to come forward and offer to stock items from the range in an effort to raise funds for CLAN.
Susan Crighton, fundraising manager at CLAN Cancer Support said: “The merchandise we have had produced will play an integral part in our celebrations to mark our 30th anniversary.
“It will give the chance for all of our supporters to wear our colours with pride and to come together with us to help celebrate our milestone year.
“We are of course indebted to Beth for designing such a fantastic logo that showcases the positive outlook that so many of our clients and supporters currently hold.”
The charity has also scheduled a year-long celebratory programme that will feature a series of fundraising and awareness events linked to the 30th anniversary theme. These will include sporting dates, special events, and other innovative fundraisers as well as the 30 Days for CLAN challenge in September – in which participants will be invited to devote the month to fundraising for the charity.
