Knight Frank team completes charity challenge for CLAN

An intrepid team of staff from the Aberdeen office of property consultants Knight Frank has completed a gruelling challenge in aid of charity.

The team of six completed the 30 mile mountain bike challenge last month travelling from Braemar to Blair Atholl, taking in some of Scotland’s most picturesque areas, including the stunning Glen Tilt.

During the challenge the team raised more than £3,000 for Aberdeen-based charity CLAN Cancer Support.

Doug Garden, Partner at the Aberdeen office and organiser of the challenge, said the team had enjoyed the experience. He said: “We were absolutely delighted to complete the challenge. The team spirit during the ride was fantastic and everyone survived, despite more than a few tumbles due to the tricky terrain.

“Raising more than £3,000 for CLAN, a charity which is close to the hearts of so many people throughout the North and North-east, was extremely important to the team and we cannot thank everyone enough for their help and support in achieving this.”

Susan Crighton, fundraising manager at CLAN, was delighted to receive the donation from the team. Susan said: “We are extremely grateful once again to the team at Knight Frank for their donation following their cycle challenge.

“Every penny raised by our supporters means so much to us as it allows CLAN to continue to provide help and support to those affected by cancer. I hope everyone has recovered and I am looking forward to hearing what the team decide to tackle next.”
