CLAN looking forward to annual Family Fun Day

CLAN Cancer Support is hosting its first family fun day at its new home this weekend.

The charity will open its doors at its base on Westburn Road on Saturday, June 16 from 11am to 2.30pm.

The event at CLAN House will feature a number of fun activities for every member of the family to enjoy, including performances from the Sharon Gill School of Dance, Ocean’s 3, the Guarana Drummers, St Machar Academy Glee Club and magician, Garry Seagraves.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy some taster sessions of some of the therapies on offer at CLAN House.

Claire Fraser, Services Manager at CLAN Cancer Support said: “The family fun day is always one of the most popular events in the CLAN calendar, and I’m sure this year will be even more special being the first held in our new home.

“The family fun day is an opportunity for us to raise awareness of our support services for children, young people and families affected by cancer, as well as being a day of free entertainment for all. There will be plenty of fun activities going on to keep everyone amused.

“We look forward to welcoming families on June 16 to our wonderful new CLAN House, and I’m sure that a fantastic time will be had by all on the day!”
